BBC radio lancashire interview

Up early today to do a live radio interview at my house with Rajeev Gupta, On the Graham Liver show. Our slot was for 7-30am now i appreciate most of u guys would have been giving it some zzzzzzzz lol, so i will put the link up here soon for anyone that wants to listen. Its basically about the World Cup Of Pool coming up in manila that me and daryl are representing england in. Its only me on the interview tho as my partner in crime was out painting the town red last night so was way too early for his schedule lol. hope you all enjoy    Guapo 

London baby !

Hey folks, Im back from the current eurotour stop in Finland where I lost in the final to nvb who put on a masterclass and hammered me 8-1 lol. Not too fussed tho as its my 3rd final on the trott. (losing 2-1 tho lol) on a positive note I managed to stay number 1 on the rankings to secure my spot in the mosconi cup team in London at the end of the year (December). After a great effort from number two ranked player Daryl Peach who placed 5th in the tourney unlucky pear tree nice shooting. Back to business now for us two as we have got the world cup of pool coming up in Manila,

Race for Willie mosconi

Well I am in Finland this week for the European tour, some say this is a big event as it's the cut off point for the mosconi cup in December, who ever finishes number 1 will get a spot into the team, I am currently number 1 with Daryl peach a close 2nd, but for me it's about what u achieve in the season not one tournament, so I will just keep plodding on and trying my ass off lol, hotel and venue looking good, off to gym then food :) more updates soon.

Well today has been a good day for me. I was interviewed at BBC Radio Manchester by the lovely Heather Stott ( she's the kinda girl you would take home to meet your mam lol ).

I really enjoyed talking to Heather she made it a very fun interview we had a blast,  thanks. Hope everyone around Manchester enjoyed it too.

We spoke about the forthcoming World Cup Of Pool, the Eurotour, GB9ball tour also got a mention and where it all began... the boozers in Radcliffe.

And of course we chatted about what it's all leading up to - THE MOSCONI CUP - run by Matchroom Sport.

I have been playing well this week & getting some well needed practise in for the Eurotour Event in Finland next week. This should be an excellent event, with all the players who are potentially in the mix for the Mosconi Cup, wanting to put in a good show, as some of the European Team will be chosen immediately after the event.

My manager David Carter arrived today and we have been planning the rest of my travel arrangements for the remainder of 2010. It is looking likely that I will not be at home for more than 4 days between now and the Mosconi Cup!!!

I am looking forward to my new cues arriving from my cue sponsors Predator, which are due anytime. Many thanks to them in advance.

Finally, a may have to put my football career on hold for a while after getting injured playing 5 a side this week. Never mind.....back to the table.....
